Dance CATharsis: a cat band that hears every miss

A rhythm game where each cat plays one instrument in one lane, and a missed note mutes that cat. Out now on Google Play.

Dance CATharsis is a rhythm game about a cat band playing gigs for a cozy pixel village. It’s out now on Google Play.

A Dance CATharsis gig. Four cats play drums, bass, keys and lead in four lanes, and paw notes fall toward the rings.

Four cats, four lanes

Every cat in the band is one instrument and one lane: drums, bass, keys and lead. Paw notes fall toward the rings, and you tap them in time.

Miss a note, and that cat goes quiet until you hit again. You don’t just see a mistake on a score counter. You hear the bass drop out of the song, and you hear it come back.

Every cat brings its own groove, so a new cat in the band means a new part in the song.

Strays and dance-offs

Strays wander in to the edge of town. To bring one into the band, you win it over in a dance-off: the stray dances to its own loop, and you tap along.

The village

Between gigs, the band goes home. Resting cats busk for tips, and requests and upgrades grow the village around the stage.

Clips

You can record a vertical clip of a gig or of a cat’s dance and share it.

Dance CATharsis is free on Google Play. More screenshots are on the game page.
